I am pretty new to the game. I decided to take up the game, aged 59, for the exercise, but am really enjoying it. I started with an old set from a friend for £20, just to see if I would like the game. He threw in a big headed driver for another tenner. Now, 3 months down the line, I decided I like it, and it was time to buy a new set of clubs for myself. I'm never going to be a serious golfer, so was never going to pay thousands for a set, instead looking for a compromise, settled on these clubs. I liked the idea that everything I need was there, as I was starting from scratch. I thought they were really, really cheap, and of they weren't right, then I hadn't lost much. Well, I have been out today and played my first round with them, and here is my report. Firstly, the good points. They look good. They are much lighter and easier to carry than the old set I had. I seem to be hitting straighter with them. On the downside, I don't think they are so good on distance. I am definitely hitting further with my old big headed driver, but maybe I just need to get used to the new one. To sum up, if you are serious about your game, you are never going to buy a set like this, but if, like me, it's all about the fun, the exercise, getting out, maybe meeting others, whatever, then these will do you fine. It's a great set for the money you pay, and I would guess would do me for the rest of my days if I take care of them. I'm delighted with them.

Generally pleased with this purchase. The clubs look good and feel okay, aside from the putter which is too heavy in my opinion. I am not convinced about the driver just yet but need to find the middle more often.. The bag is well designed and not too big. Overall, a good value club set and bag.

I have taken a few years off of golf and recently started playing again. My old set of clubs were stolen, so I was in the market for Some new ones. I checked out all the full sets for under $200 and decided on the Palm Springs clubs after reading a couple of reviews. I couldnt be happier with the clubs. The driver is oversized and took a little getting used to. The hybrids in place of your low irons are perfect for me, because I cannot hit the 3/4 irons to save my life. All and all I am very happy with my new set of clubs. They arrived in about 4 days and I have been playing ever since.

These were my first set of golf clubs. Thr irons are well made, the hybrids should be helpful for most beginners, and the woods are decent. In this price range, all drivers are of questionable quality, but this one will suffice. I still use these clubs today, though i have replaced the woods and added some wedges. Now, I'm a 4 handicap and these clubs still work for me. Nicer, more expensive clubs might be better in some ways, but this set has everything you need to become a great golfer. I highly recommend them

These clubs arrived very well packed in bubble wrap and plastic film to protect the finish which, I might add, is superb. The photos don't do them justice. They are well balanced and look like real high end clubs and for a fraction of the cost. The bag is very well made and the bag stand works extremely well. I've been out to the range several times and have experienced no problems with them at all. I couldn't be more pleased with this set.

Very nice set of clubs especially for beginners. I golf every so often and am not very good just wanted a decent set of clubs that were too expensive but not to cheap that they were going to break. I have went 4 or 5 times since I bought these and am very pleased. If you are someone who just wants a decent set of clubs without spending a ton of money these are the clubs for you! ;D
