This tape works great for holding new golf grips. The active layer is super thin, almost like it's nothing but glue. It's easy to apply if you follow the video. I used a light coat of lighter fluid to help slide the grip over the tape. Air pressure added to the little hole at the end of the grip helped a lot, too. I can think of dozens of other non-golf-related uses for it too!

I am an occasional golf club grip changer. I am a senior and like to help other seniors save some money. I ordered this unusable tape that frustrated me to no ends. I still had some tape left on my roll but thought I would order another spare. I know I am passed the return date but. Having a club to do I tried this tape. I thought it was my inexperience doing grips that was the problem. I tried my grandson set and it took me a whole day to change his grips. I thought it was me but I use my old tape and no problem at all. Wish I could return this roll. I will be ordering from another supplier. I WOULD KEEP CLESR OF THIS PRODUCT.

The tape is great to regroup your clubs..the only thing it’s very thin ..I added two layer to make up the difference.. Just a word it very hard to get two sided tape anywhere..Amazon is about the only place to grab it .. .so if I were you grab two rolls and be on the safe side!
